Education
- Lynnette Thredgold has a Master in Music degree in violin performance from the University of Utah.
- She has studied with William Prucell, Andreas Cardenas and Leonard Posner. Lynnette has performed professionally for over 30 years and has taught violin at the University of Texas in Austin.
- She has served as concertmaster with the Ballet West/Utah Chamber Orchestra and Pioneer Theater Company.
- Lynnette has also been a member of professional orchestras in Colorado, Idaho, Texas, and Utah.
In a desire to give back what she has learned over the years, Lynnette developed a music school in 2005, Lynnette Thredgold School of Music. Her diverse background in musical genres enables her to teach a broad range of musical styles.
Personal
Lynnette is second of ten children, born in Provo, Utah. She is married to noted economist Jeff Thredgold, they have six children, and 10 grandchildren.
In past years, while raising her children, Lynnette has enjoyed a career as a Body Builder, a personal trainer and appeared as the “Phantom” in the Women of Wrestling. Visit Body by Lynnette for photos, contest results, and articles.
